Terms of rental

1. The Agreement

The agreement consists of these terms for rental, information provided in the booking solution and any separately agreed terms. In the event of any conflict between the information, what has been separately agreed between the parties takes precedence, as long as it does not conflict with mandatory legislation.

The tenant is the consumer who makes the order, and is referred to in the following as: tenant/tenant.

3. Booking and payment of rental

For the rental of equipment (RIB, SUP, wakeboard etc.), the rent is binding and the terms accepted, once the rent has been paid. All rentals are subject to prepayment in the online shop. Even if the booking applies to a future date, the service is considered delivered in our systems at the time of payment. Payment is made via our partners PAYPAL, VIPPS or KLARNA. Follow the instructions for payment in the "checkout". Enter your full name, address, e-mail and telephone number when registering.

4. Lessee's responsibility

Tenant must be over 18 and able to swim. A life jacket must be used when using equipment on the water. The tenant undertakes to present valid identification. Equipment is collected and returned to the agreed place and at the right time. If you should be delayed in relation to the agreed time for return, report on telephone 476 82 326. The tenant undertakes to take care of the rented equipment as well as possible. The equipment must be returned in the same condition as when it was delivered. If the equipment should become very dirty, the tenant must clean the equipment before returning it at the agreed time. In the event of damage or theft of the equipment, the tenant must notify the landlord as soon as possible. The tenant is responsible for damages. Self-declaration must be signed before delivery. Risk and responsibility for the equipment lies with the lessee from the time it leaves the lessor's depot until it is returned to the same. The lessor can, however, designate another return location, if this does not impose more costs on the lessee. All use of rented equipment (RIB, SUP, tube, wakeboard etc.) is at your own risk and responsibility. You are not covered by any insurance from the landlord. Check whether your insurance applies to damage or loss of rented equipment. In the event of theft or damage, the tenant may be charged a fee for theft/damage of rental equipment.   • RIB (Theft up to NOK 30,000 Damage up to NOK 20,000)
  • SUP (Theft up to NOK 5,000 Damage up to NOK 3,000)
  • Wakeboard (Theft up to NOK 2,000 Damage up to NOK 1,000)
  • Banana boat (Theft up to NOK 5,000 Damage up to NOK 3,000)
  • Wingfoil equipment (Theft up to NOK 10,000 Damage up to NOK 6,000)

5. Right of withdrawal, cancellation of rental

There is basically no right of withdrawal when purchasing services/rentals. We are still helpful with cancellation or rebooking. If the reserved rental product is not to be used, and the amount paid is to be refunded, SeaBreeze must be notified no later than 24 hours before the agreed rental time. Cancellation or rebooking must be sent to us in writing by email ( info@sea-breeze.no ) or SMS to tel: 47 68 23 26 no later than 24 hours before the agreed rental time. In the event of non-collection, or late cancellation of the rental product, the amount paid will not be refunded.

6. Insurances

SeaBreeze would like to emphasize that all use of rented equipment (RIB, SUP, tube, wakeboard, etc.) is at the renter's own risk. The lessor assumes no responsibility for the financial consequences of possible accidents/damages that may occur during use of the rental products. In the event of damage or theft of rented equipment, the tenant is also responsible for compensation. You are not covered by any insurance from the landlord. Check whether you have insurance that applies to damage or loss of rented equipment. Self-declaration must be signed before delivery. Members of the Norwegian Folketrygd with a residential address in Norway are recommended to have combined travel/accident insurance. Other tenants are advised to take out similar insurance at their place of residence. Most all-year travel insurance also includes cancellation insurance.

7. Interruption
If a participant has to interrupt the rental period, and return equipment before the rental period has expired, SeaBreeze is not responsible for additional costs as a result of the interruption. In such cases, reference is made to the participant's private insurance. The participant is also not entitled to a refund of all or part of the rental amount.

8. Cancellation of rental
SeaBreeze can cancel an agreed rental due to force majeure, difficult weather conditions, damaged equipment, lack of staffing or the like. In case of cancellation, SeaBreeze is obliged to inform the tenant as soon as possible. If the rental is canceled due to the aforementioned reasons, any amount paid will be refunded. Beyond this, the participants are not entitled to compensation.

9. Changes of rental
SeaBreeze shall, as far as possible, carry out the rental in accordance with the agreement. It is reserved that the rental may have to be changed due to special circumstances that make it difficult to carry out the rental as planned. SeaBreeze must notify the tenant of any significant changes as soon as possible. Such changes give the tenant the right to withdraw from the agreed rental time. Any amount paid will then be refunded. In the event that changes need to be made during an ongoing rental, the landlord must notify the tenant as soon as possible.

10. Complaints, lack of goods
The lessor must be immediately notified of any complaints along the way. A written explanation and any claims for a price reduction must be sent to SeaBreeze as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after the rental has ended. Use the e-mail address: info@sea-breeze.no
